Flight Simulators are complex.

Learning a flight simulator takes a long time.

We make it easy - direct to flight!

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 is a very advanced flight simulator. Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is much more advanced. With many features and simulation of many aircraft, airports and the whole world, together with multiple flying options, comes complexity.

You bought the flight simulator - to fly!

If you are new to the Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 or Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 - it can take many hours, days or weeks to get started by yourself. To start flying and enjoying the flight simulator.

Even if you have some experience in the simulator, you may feel that there are many features of the sim that you would like to know better. Or test for the first time - without getting stuck.

Our MSFS 2024 and MSFS 2020 Quick Guides are available to lead you directly and quickly to any type of flight you want. Even our full guides do not have hundreds of pages to frustrate you.

All of our guides are based on real screenshots from the simulators. With well marked clickable areas and simple explanations, we lead you directly through the easiest and fastest path to the type of flight you want. We add tips and valuable information for you to enjoy the sim even more.

  • What is a Quick Guide?
Learning real flying requires learning a lot of theory, rules and regulations, and books like the Pilot Operation Handbook. Hundreds of mainly text pages. We think flying a simulator should be much easier. We want you to get straight to the type of flight you want and enjoy more flying time. Instead of hundreds of boring text pages, we created Quick Guides that are mostly visual. They’re 90% or more screenshots with the necessary text to make it clear, with clearly marked clickable areas over the screenshots. Clicking on the right area will take you to the next step in the sim, and our Quick Guide will show you that next screen and what to do next. It’s your quickest way to flying! Check out the demo Bora Bora Discovery flight for MSFS 2020 to see how it works.
  • I'm upgrading from MSFS 2020. What should I get?
Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 offers a ton more options than its predecessor, MSFS 2020. While it’s often marketed as an upgrade, it’s actually a whole new simulator. The settings are different, and there are a bunch of new flight types. The EFB (Electronic Flight Bag) is completely new. To get started, grab the MSFS 2024 EFB Quick Guide and the MSFS 2024 Beginners Quick Guide. These will help you set up your basic settings and take your first few free flights. . Once you’re comfortable, the MSFS 2024 Advanced Quick Guide will guide you through advanced settings and help you explore all the features of the new Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, except for the Career mode.
  • I know how to fly but I'm new to MSFS 2024 and flight simulators. Where should I start?
Our MSFS 2024 Beginners Quick Guide will teach you how to set up the basics with examples of each setting and a list of minimums. We’ve included examples of settings for two popular HOTAS systems. It’ll also show you how to get two different types of free flights - with two different airplanes, different parts of the world, and different weather conditions. Add the MSFS 2024 EFB Quick Guide to use a tablet in every airplane you fly. It’ll give you basic instructions on how to use it. Once you know how to do free flights, the MSFS 2024 Advanced Quick Guide will guide you through every type of flight in the sim. It’ll also give you some extra advanced settings instructions, like walking outside the airplane, doing pre-flight checks, and getting into the pilot’s seat. When you want to start visual flights in cool places, get the Grand Canyon Low-Level flying tour guide to learn how to prepare and fly a flight plan (in three different ways). When you’re ready to take your flying to the next level - from learning more about pilots, to adding add-ons, VR, building home cockpits, and talking to ATC - get the Tools & Customization guide.
  • I'm interested in a flight simulator but have no flying knowledge. Where should I start?
Both Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 have a section on learning how to fly, but they’re a bit too basic to teach you everything you need to know. We’re working on some more comprehensive guides that will make it easier and less frustrating to fly. These guides are based on over 50 years of real flying experience and 45 years as a flight instructor, flying 25 different real airplanes over 4 continents. If you’re interested in these guides, just register and let us know. We’ll send you a notification when they’re ready. If you’re ready to dive into Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 or 2024, we recommend starting with the beginner guides. The MSFS 2020 Quick Guide is a great place to begin if you’ve already got MSFS 2020, while the MSFS 2024 Beginners Quick Guide is perfect for those with MSFS 2024. We also show you how to get to the Flight Training section in the MSFS 2020 Quick Guide and the MSFS 2024 Advanced Quick Guide.
